I remember when I was 21 and went into a liquer store. Woman at the register asked me for ID. Put my license and my draft card on the counter (draft card has any scars that you have .... had tatoo on my right arm and operation scar on my left knee).

She says, "This isn't you."

So I take off my jacket, roll up my sleeve so she can see my tattoo (my name), and ask "Do you want me to drop my pants so you can see my operation scar?"

She pushed my ID back across the counter and rang up my purchase.

I got id'ed when I was 30---now if they do it I say 'thankyou!' and most of the kids are much younger than I am!! (though I did like living in Idaho---they card EVERYONE, even the gray-haired old man hobbling in on his cane for his weekly whatever, and they only have state run liquor stores, ok, glad I dont live there anymore).
and sorry no pics of my high school----even my yearbooks are packed waaaaaaaaay away in a dusty old corner of a room I havent set foot in this year.....just glad its more than 2 decades in the past, and my therapist agrees it should stay there

yeah monty, lets see that one---I have one on my knee too, but unless I have a tan (not a likely occurance especially since its the dead of winter here) you cant really see it.

----got mine from a metal desk drawer about 5 years ago---was helping a new lady with her computer and she opened her side drawer (I didnt know this), so when I went to leave her desk I turned took a step and the corner of the drawer went into my knee....I almost past out, that was fun....I sat down at a neighboring desk since the world was fading fast (my blood pressure had dropped too low) and looked at my knee---no damage to the pants, so I hicked the hem up and noticed the blood running freely down my leg--and then the lady I was helping almost past out!
We got my boss in, she said I could leave for the day (gee thanks) and I called my doctor to see if she could see me or if I should get to the er...she had an opening, so I then called my hubby and said we need to get to the doctor--can you get to the train station so I can pick you up? (good thing its my left knee and my car is automatic)

...picked up my hubby and went to the docs.....they had to put stitches in, so they got out the tray with the big long needles....and then my husband almost past out, so the doc says to the nurse 'maybe you should take mr cosyfiep out to the waiting room' he was a white sheet--he hates doctors, needles and hates pain even more....so I got 3? 4? stitches, had made it thru almost 40 years without every having to have them.

Wow that must have felt strange.
I used to have lots of small scars on the knees but they disappeared with time (I used to fell a lot when I was younger xD). And I have my appendix scar xD. But I've got some more time to get some scars lol.

A friend of mine has lots of scars on the legs because while playing hide and seek she ran into a window and shattered it xD.

I have multiple scars in different places on my body... Some by my cat, some by track injuries, childhood bike injuries, exacto knives. And I'm sure I may have more in the future.

well the worst is on my nose---took a header when I was 18 months old---broke my nose and deviated the septum...got the bump that grew in the 14 years it took my parents to figure out something was wrong fixed as well as the septum since I couldnt breathe out of it, but the scar remains.
Kids called me all sorts of horrible names as child, boy I am glad that I am older now--kids are so hurtful without even knowing it.

Never broken anything, but have had my hand slammed in a door once. That wasnt really fun, pretty much ended up one of my little league seasons one summer. =(

lol, not as bad a fin cut in a thumb an inch deep! didn't feel it till i got out and my wetsuit was slashed, i was so mad!

I just remember another scar I have ( on the foot ) :

One night, after watching TV with my cousins, I got up and started walking away to my room. But as I walk I stumble across a glass, fell and broke the glass ; and let's say that the glass took it's revenge of my right foot lol. And that was the day I saw the bone of my foot lol, then it started bleeding all over the ground xD.
The day later I had to go to school. It was funny because I was still bleeding a little and my friends were like : it would be priceless if you faint due to blood loss xD.

I've also knocked out one of my front teeth at a track meet... Wasnt very fun getting the root canal after that... =/ Even had to do a band concert with half of my front tooth missing cuz I had to wait between the root canal and getting fake tooth placed.

I always find more scars after my blackouts.
My doctor says I'm losing vital organs everyday too.
I start to get worried after he tells me that, but then I just blackout again and wake up at home....only to find another scar.
Weird.
My doctor just bought another Porsche.
I have no idea how that's relevant, but I'm just saying. Being a doctor must be cool.

Wow you guys keeps remembering me all the accidents I had lol.

The day before my birthday (I think I was 6) my family and I were in a hotel we were supposed to spend the night in

. So we go to the pool, play like kids (we were lol). Then we go back to our rooms. and this is when the bad thing happens : I open the chamber's door where my cousin and her friend her in, the bad thing is that they were wrestling...so as I get into the chamber, my cousin gets pushed on my face and I lose both of my upper front teeth...

So after that I decides to go to my grandparent's house to spend the night (xD), because of my little "incident" my grandmother gives me some quarters. Unfortunately, one of the quarters rolls under my bed. So I go under it to take my back, but I got up too fast and I hit my head on the steel and cried (once again lol).

But it was still a fun birthday lol. (Now that I thing of it, I'm glad my upper front teeth fell at the same time, so I don't have to suffer missing a front tooth twice lol).
